Finding the most suitable accommodation for a guest is an art as well as a science, which that we have perfected over the years. We pay special attention to your particular needs and match them to one of the many different types of accommodation we have available. Not only do we provide the right accommodation for you, but we are here 24 hours a day to provide any support you may need during your stay.
Our company was formed by Sara and Bernard Zagdanski: a warm, understanding and worldly couple who has managed successful businesses in the service industry while simultaneously raising and nurturing a closely knit and international family. Sara and Bernard lived in Brussels, Belgium for over 20 years, before returning to the U.S. in June of 1999. They had hosted many foreign students in Belgium over the years, and since they enjoyed the experience very much, they decided that with a constant housing shortage in New York this would be a wonderful practice to bring with them to the big city.
Sara's Homestay started in January of 2001 as Sara's Bed and Breakfast, and offered beds in private homes for foreign tourists. Our current homestay program for international students was quickly derived from this.
We now host over 2000 guests from over 40 different countries per year, in all areas of New York City as well as California, Miami, Paris and London.
Our seven knowledgable and expert staff members specialize in finding safe, comfortable and clean accommodations and providing efficient, personalized, interactive service to our clients.
Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions and we hope that you will use us to arrange your accommodation.
